#47 It's Time to Move Forward: 3 Ways to Overcome Inadequacy and Fear


Do you ever feel like you are inadequate or not good enough? Do you have dreams and goals that seem impossible because of fear? If so, then this blog post is for you. We’ve all been there. But it’s time to move forward and take control of your life and start living your best life! Here are three helpful ways to silence fear and overcome feelings of inadequacy so you can finally move forward towards your goals and dreams.






3 Ways to Overcome Inadequacy and Fear


1. Take a Positive Mental Inventory - You know yourself better than anyone else. Make a list of the positive qualities, skills, talents, experiences, education, relationships, etc., that make up who you are. List anything that gives you a sense of pride or accomplishment. This will help to boost your self-confidence and remind yourself why you can achieve your goals.


2. Let Go of Negative Self-Talk - Negativity only leads to more negativity. Instead of focusing on what you can't do or don't have, focus on what is attainable with the resources and abilities that you do have. Redirect any negative thoughts into positive ones that emphasize possibilities rather than limitations.

3. Find People That Believe in You - Surround yourself with people that believe in your potential for greatness even when it seems hard for you to believe in yourself. These people should be supportive by providing encouragement when needed but also honest about areas where growth is possible without being overly critical or judgmental. Having someone who believes in your potential can help foster an environment conducive to achieving success no matter how small the goal may be at first!


Fear and feelings of inadequacy can be difficult obstacles to overcome but they can be conquered! Remember that the power lies within each one of us to take control of our lives and start achieving our goals and dreams today! With a positive mental inventory, letting go of negative self-talk, and finding people who believe in us we can push through fear and achieve great things! So what are you waiting for? Now is the time! Go out there and make it happen!
